Wedding Day Hooray

Whew! Its hard to believe my last post was back in August... time has flown! Since August, I've had the pleasure of being on so many memorable shoots and spending time with wonderful families, friends and professional vendors... its been a blast. Thank you to all for allowing me the opportunity to share my
passion!
Last weekend we had the pleasure of shooting the Wedding Day Hooray event. For those of you not familiar its put on by the same folks who bring you the Indie Craft Experience (a.k.a. Christy Petterson of a bardis and Shannon Mulkey of Patina).  If you have never been to one of their event I would encourage you to attend. My personal favorite is the Christmas Holiday show (usually held the first weekend in December) so if you love handmade goods (or Etsy style) you will love these events!

IF ONLY FOR A SECOND

If my camera lens could talk it sure would have some stories to tell.... The emotions and energy it takes to get the perfect shot amaze me. We are not talking about photographing a waterfall or mountains, where you have all the time in the world to adjust the aperture or lens- nope we are talking about kids who are hot and tired at the end of a long day.... they can't be bothered with your silly tripod, "i'm tired"and all of a sudden out of nowhere magic happens...... sweet stillness and kindness coming with minimal direction-- and it was all worth it for this shot!

Meet Kailey!! I had the pleasure of photographing her last week, she was a great baby to work with... No complaints from the 7 month old beauty, as we molded and adjusted her for that perfect shot! I can't wait to photograph her with her brother and sister!!
